The landscape in Arizona is some of the most breathtaking in the world, especially for those traveling from colder parts of the country. These nature areas are anchored by some of the most iconic features of Sedona: the massive Red Rock sandstone formations.

Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock, and Snoopy Rock are renowned for their deep red and orange hues, and the play of light and shadows on these rocks at sunrise and sunset is a sight to behold. One of the most impressive and downright famous national parks near Sedona, the Grand Canyon National Park, is about a two-hour drive, but the journey itself will be worth the scenic views you’ll witness from your car windows.
