Arriving and Check In at Canyon Villa Bed & Breakfast Inn of Sedona

Normal check-in time is between 3 and 5:30 PM. If you will be arriving later than 5:30, please let us know so that we can provide you with late check-in directions. Early check-in may be available for a fee of $50.00; please call us for availability two days prior to your arrival. 

When you arrive:

• Drive right up to our front door on our circular drive. Just ring the bell to the left of the main entrance and we’ll be there to welcome you within minutes. (We suggest you leave your luggage in your car until we have had a chance to familiarize you with the inn and your guestroom.)
• Regarding Parking: Once you are settled into your room, we’ll have you park your car in our parking lot just to the south of the building, leaving our circular drive available for the next arriving guest.

Here's an early arrival tip.... Consider stopping by the Red Rock Visitor Center

If you are arriving from the south on SR 179, we encourage you to stop at the new beautiful Red Rock Visitor’s Center, at the South Gateway Visitor Station. It is on the way to the inn and located on the right approximately 6 miles north on SR 179 before you arrive in the Village of Oak Creek. The center is staffed with trained volunteers and rangers who can give you a quick introduction to the entire Red Rock area just before you enter our beautiful section of Sedona referred to as the Village of Oak Creek. The views of the Red Rocks will have already left you breathless as you approach “The Village,”, and they’ll keep getting better and better until you pull right up to our door and see the fabulous views of Bell Rock, Castle Rock and Courthouse Butte which you’ll experience throughout your stay at Canyon Villa Bed & Breakfast Inn of Sedona.

Some Last-Minute Reminders

• You are more than welcome to bring your own wine, beer or liquor since we do not have a Liquor License. We have stores in our immediate area if you would like to purchase wine, beer or liquor once you arrive. There is a Circle K Convenience store within a few blocks and Clark's Market is just a few miles down the road. 
• Most guests flying into Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport use rental cars available at the airport. And while we recommend having your own vehicle while in Sedona, if you do NOT want to rent a car for the 2-hour drive to Sedona, shuttle services are available to meet you at the airport and bring you directly to Canyon Villa Bed & Breakfast Inn of Sedona. Groom Transportation has proven to be an excellent and dependable source for service, and advance reservations are required. Call 928-350-8466 for information and rates.
  
  
• Check-Out Time for Departing Guests: 11 AM

From time to time we receive requests for late check-outs, and based upon our schedule and occupancy we try to accommodate such requests as best we can. As a small Sedona inn, we have a limited housekeeping staff, and with new guests arriving just a few hours after other guests have departed, we are not always able to comply. 

DAILY ROOM FARE:
Rates shown throughout our website assume a maximum of two people per room. Our room rate is all inclusive (no extra resort, parking, Wi-Fi fee etc). We welcome Electric Vehicles and provide free EV charging for our guests.

STANDARD RATE: Our best guaranteed rate.

STANDARD INSURED RATE: Fully refundable up to 72 hours prior to arrival. 

STATE AND COUNTY TAXES (NO CITY TAXES!): Limited to 6.325% in our area.
This is due to our restful and scenic location by Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte; taxes at Canyon Villa Bed & Breakfast Inn of Sedona are limited to State & County Tax ONLY !! This results in an automatic savings to our guests, since City Taxes (roughly another 6%) do NOT APPLY at Canyon Villa Bed & Breakfast Inn of Sedona.

RATE CHANGES:
Rates and seasonal adjustments are subject to change at any time with the exception of confirmed reservations for which the appropriate deposit has been made.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANTS PER ROOM:
Guest rooms are designed to comfortably accommodate 2 guests per room. 

MINIMUM STAY REQUIREMENTS:
A two-night minimum stay is required for rooms located within the villa. Our Agave room located on the property with a separate entrance can be reserved for those guests travelling through Sedona for one night. 

BREAKFAST:
Rates include a full, home-cooked gourmet breakfast, served from 8:00 – 9:30 a.m in our beautiful dining room. Fresh-baked cookies, snacks or goodies are available each evening in the dining room.

Policies at Canyon Villa Inn

REFUND AND DEPOSIT POLICY 

Standard rates: Refundable 30 days prior to arrival with cancellation fee. We recommend booking with the Insured Rate or purchase separate Travel/Cancellation Insurance if there is uncertainty. Requesting to change a reservation within 30 days of arrival is considered a cancellation and is subject to manager approval based on circumstance, occupancy and time of year. 

TRIP CANCELLATION INSURANCE

CANCELLATION FEES: Our policy includes but is not limited to personal and family illnesses, accidents, weather, travel disruptions or any cause.  A $50 per room administrative and credit card processing fee applies on ALL cancellations (standard and insured rates). 

DEPOSITS: When booking DIRECTLY with Canyon Villa Bed & Breakfast Inn of Sedona, we require a deposit of half the total fare including tax, and the remaining balance will be automatically collected 30 days prior to check-in. *For Special Events and 4+ room bookings the remaining balance will be automatically collected 60 days prior to check-in.

For Reservations made INDIRECTLY through 3rd party Booking sites (Expedia or Booking.com) full payment may be collected by the 3rd party company, upfront. For reservations canceled with less than 4 weeks' notice, deposits are not refundable due to difficulty re-reserving the room on such short notice. ALL cancellations are subject to minimum first-night stay charge. 3rd party billing issues must be handled directly through the company with which the booking is made. We do not facilitate any refunds or challenges caused by 3rd party agencies.

CHECK-IN TIME:
Rooms are available for Check-in at 3:00 p.m.

CHECK-OUT TIME:
11:00 a.m.

PAYMENT OPTIONS:
We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express credit cards. Cash may be used for payment balances upon arrival.

Children, Pets, and Smoking Policies

GUESTS WITH CHILDREN UNDER AGE 14:
Our bed and breakfast is primarily designed as an adult-only inn. We are only able to accept mature children aged 14 and older. For many reasons, Canyon Villa Bed & Breakfast Inn of Sedona is not appropriate for young children, especially with our open pool courtyard (seasonal April through October). A $50.00 per night fee will be charged for a child over 14 accompanying their parents.

PET POLICY:
Pets of all types are strictly prohibited at our Sedona inn, inside or outside, including the parking area and vehicles in the parking area. Fortunately, several lodging properties in Sedona cater to guests with pets, and we are happy to refer you to these properties upon request.

SERVICE ANIMALS: Service Animals are accepted as required under federal law by the American Disabilities Act including all 2013 revisions made by the Justice Department.

NON-SMOKING POLICY:
Smoking of any type is strictly prohibited throughout the entire premises. This includes guestrooms, decks, patios, and all common areas whether inside or outside. Our policy includes cigarettes, cigars, marijuana and pipes.

CANDLES & INCENSE BURNING:
For the safety of all guests, as well as to prevent unique odors from building up in guestrooms, we regret that we cannot permit guests to burn flame candles or incense of any kind.
