Driving Directions
While Canyon Villa Bed & Breakfast Inn of Sedona remains very easy to get to, for your convenience you may want to print these specific directions and bring them with you when heading for Sedona. As you arrive in the Sedona area, if you have any difficulty finding us, to avoid the chance of making a wrong turn and then having to backtrack, please call us at 928-284-1226. You may be much closer than you realize. We do recommend trying to arrive before dark, as street signs can be very difficult to read in the dark night Sedona skies.
Our street address is 40 Canyon Circle Drive, Sedona, AZ 86351, which is just off Bell Rock Blvd. Our B&B was thoughtfully constructed in a southern section of Sedona on the very edge of the unincorporated Village of Oak Creek. We are positioned in front of the world-famous Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte Red Rock formations of Sedona.
Driving NORTH from Phoenix
RECOMMENDED ROUTE
Take I-17 NORTH to Exit #298 which is State Rte 179. At the end of the ramp, TURN LEFT and travel approx 7 miles NORTH on State Rte 179 into the Village of Oak Creek. Continue driving through the Village of Oak Creek until you arrive at the 4th traffic circle. This is Bell Rock Blvd. Ace Hardware will be on your right and the Wildflower Inn will be on your left at this intersection. Go through the traffic circle counter-clockwise exiting the traffic circle heading west (between Wildflower Inn and Plaza del Sol) onto Bell Rock Blvd (ie, 3/4 of the way around the circle). Then TURN RIGHT almost immediately onto Canyon Circle Drive. Canyon Villa Inn is at the end of the block facing the Red Rocks. As an arriving guest you can temporarily park near our front door on the paved area of our stone circular drive. Our street address is 40 Canyon Circle Drive, Sedona, AZ 86351.
Driving SOUTH from Flagstaff
RECOMMENDED
Via I-17 South to SR 179
(Approximately 65 minutes, mostly four lanes)
From I-40 in Flagstaff take I-17 SOUTH from I 40 to Exit #298 which is State Rte 179. At the end of the ramp, TURN RIGHT and travel approx 7 miles NORTH on State Rte 179 into the Village of Oak Creek. Continue driving through the Village of Oak Creek until you arrive at the 4th traffic circle. This is Bell Rock Blvd. Ace Hardware will be on your right and the Wildflower Inn will be on your left at this intersection. Go through the traffic circle exiting the traffic circle heading west (between Wildflower Inn and Plaza del Sol) onto Bell Rock Blvd (ie, 3/4 of the way around the circle) and then almost immediately TURN RIGHT onto Canyon Circle Drive. Canyon Villa Inn is at the end of the block facing the Red Rocks. You can pull right up to our front door on the small circular stone drive. CAUTION!
Even when there is no construction, this scenic drive on 89A through Oak Creek Canyon can back up for extended periods during weekends and busy seasons, and it can also be hazardous if you are arriving in winter weather. It is a two-lane road through switchbacks with virtually no passing. If you have any concerns about this, we recommend following the first route, which we refer to as QUICKEST above. You can always drive into Oak Creek Canyon from the other direction once you are settled in Sedona.
