Frequently Asked Questions

When is the earliest I can check in?
3:00 pm. Please note that we are a small boutique inn with a small staff. We require the time between check-out time 11:00am and 3:00 to prepare for our incoming guests. In our slower seasons we may be able to offer early check-in for $50.00 with advance notice. 

I have questions prior to booking, when should I call?
Our reservation office is open from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm MST/PST during daylight saving time. The best way to have your questions answered is to send us an email at Innkeeper@canyonvilla.com 

I have friends in the area, may they come to Canyon Villa Bed & Breakfast Inn of Sedona for a visit?
Yes. As long as you give us notice and register them with the front desk. 

My child is not 14 but well behaved, can I bring them to Canyon Villa Bed & Breakfast Inn of Sedona?
Unfortunately, children are not permitted at Canyon Villa. We are an adults-only establishment, many of our guests choose our inn for this reason. It is unfair for us to make exceptions on behalf of our guests who prefer to enjoy a child-free vacation.

What time is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served daily from 8:00am to 9:30am. If you have an early flight or have booked a tour prior to breakfast hours, we can provide you with a “to-go” breakfast with advance notice. 

I have dietary restrictions, can I still enjoy breakfast at Canyon Villa Bed & Breakfast Inn of Sedona?
We can modify or subtract certain items to our breakfast offerings to provide a delicious breakfast for Vegans, Celiacs, Gluten-Free, and Vegetarians with advance notice. You can add this to your reservation under the dietary restrictions portion of the reservation process. Please note that we are not an allergen-free kitchen, and cross contamination is a possibility both in our kitchen as well as the dining room. We can not be responsible for any reactions to dietary restrictions. We highly suggest you bring an epi pen or any allergy medicine in case of an emergency here or in any establishment you may visit while visiting Sedona. 

Do you have a room that can accommodate two friends traveling together?
Yes, this room is Indian Paintbrush, it can be a converted to a double twin room. Please note twin beds in your reservation.

Can I walk to hiking trails from Canyon Bed & Breakfast Inn of Sedona?
Yes, we are a 5-minute walk to Bell Rock and Courthouse Loop, as well as Slim Shady and Made in the Shade.

What is your Cancellation Policy?
Due to the high volume of advance reservations, we have a 30 day cancellation policy for our Standard Room Rates. However, we offer Insured Rates to our guests who may not be comfortable booking so far in advance. The insured room rates offer a 72-hour window for cancellations. All cancellations will be charged a fee of $50.00 PER ROOM for cancellations of any kind. Any date changes made to a reservation within the 30-day cancellation policy is considered a cancellation and is subject to management approval. Departing from Canyon Villa Bed & Breakfast Inn of Sedona early for medical, familial, or personal reasons is considered a cancellation, and no refunds will be granted. 

Which room has the best view?
Every room is unique and designed to create privacy and optimal views of the Red Rocks. Pick the best dates for your vacation, and choose any of the rooms available. All of our common areas also have magnificent views; you will not be disappointed. 

Do you have an elevator?
No, we do not have an elevator. Canyon Villa Bed & Breakfast Inn of Sedona does not have an elevator. If you are booking a room on the second floor please know that you will need to ascend a wide and gentle set of 19 stairs throughout your stay with us. While someone may be available to assist you with your luggage, you should plan/pack accordingly or choose a first-floor room.

Do you offer one-night stays?
We encourage our guests to book the minimum of two nights to experience the magic of Canyon Villa Bed & Breakfast Inn of Sedona. We do on occasion offer a one-night stay in the shoulder season for those who are en route from one location to another. You can put in the date you desire, and if we have availability then we will gladly reserve a room for you. Our favorite rooms for one-night stays are the Agave or Mimosa room. One-night stays are subject to availability and occupancy. You can call us for more details at 928.284.1226 

Can I book several rooms to create a reservation that suits my dates?
Canyon Villa Bed & Breakfast Inn of Sedona is a small boutique inn with a small staff, unique rooms and personalized service. If you don’t see the consecutive dates for a particular room, consider choosing a different room or dates. We can assist you in finding a solution; however, booking 3 different rooms for a 3-night stay is not optimal or encouraged. Please contact the Innkeeper to discuss your options prior to booking.

I have a gift certificate, can I book a room and have the credit refunded?
No. All gift certificates must be validated and entered by our Innkeeper to receive the credit. Please call us, and we will create a reservation for you. We can NOT refund payment after the reservation has been made. 

Do you offer discounts for Military, First Responders, AARP or AAA?
We do not. All of our guests are special regardless of their affiliations or careers. In an effort to keep our Standard Room Rates competitive and affordable for everyone, we offer a discount for all stays of three nights or more. We pride ourselves on offering everyone the best possible rate with direct bookings on our website. We will be running promotions throughout the seasons to offer greater discounts in our shoulder seasons. Please check our Facebook page or Instagram. 

I am considering renting an EV, do you have a charging station?
YES! We have charging stations available, you will need to get a key from the front desk to initiate the power supply to the charger. We highly suggest researching your travel plans to ensure that you are heading to other destinations with EV charging stations. Not all listed EV chargers are available for the general public and can result in extended miles in search of a charging station.
