Railroad Excursions
Located just 25 miles from Sedona in the old mining and railroad town of Clarkdale, this excursion train winds along peacefully through the beautiful Verde Canyon. The train passes towering pinnacles of colorful rocks near ancient Indian ruins; over fortified trestles; and through a manmade 680-foot tunnel to the Perkinsville ghost ranch and back. Choose between coach and first class.
Running daily from Williams, AZ, the train heads north through the open deserts of Grand Canyon country taking you right to the steps of the historic El Tovar Hotel at the South Rim. A train lover’s delight and a fun way to come and go from the Canyon. Williams is a 1 1/4 hour drive from Canyon Villa Inn in Sedona.
